Bangladesh Society of Microbiologists (BSM) deeply mourns the sudden demise of Professor Dr. AKM Sirajul Islam Khan, renowned scientist and former president of Bangladesh Society of Microbiologists (BSM). Professor Khan passed away on the 14th December 2019 (Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun). The society will always remember his enormous contributions in microbiology education and research in Bangladesh. May Allah grant him Jannat Ul Ferdous and rests his soul in peace.
