CRISPR-Cas9 Gene Editing Mechanism: A New Era in Molecular Biology

This is an immersive 5-day workshop on Genome Editing, designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to master this cutting-edge technology. Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through interactive sessions, case studies, and lab demonstrations.

Dr. Islam is one of the young scientists in Bangladesh pioneering in the very new and advanced CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing technology. Her primary focus encompasses skills from all of biological disciplines into CRISPR-Cas associated advanced genome editing techniques like base editing, prime editing; employing them in various knockout or knockdown experiments with a view to developing multi-trait, sustainable, climate smart and economically celebrated agricultural.

She will be an excellent trainer to enhance your skill in Genome Editing!!

*Time frame: May 5th to 9th (1st slot), July 26th to 30th (2nd slot) as only 20 seats are available in each slot to occupy in the lab space.
*Registration open: 27th March (until seats are occupied consecutively 1st slot will be filled up and then 2nd one)
*Who can participate: Any professional or research students who work in the field of Microbiology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Genomics, Molecular Biology, Tissue culture or handle any biological samples, can learn and directly apply to his/her research.
